The market-leading Spectus Vertical Slider now boasts a new weather bar, offering authentic period aesthetics and may improve weather performance.
The ovolo shaped weather bar replicates the sashes and outer frame, and is the latest in a series of design features, developed to create an authentic sash window appearance.
Other features include an optional deep bottom rail to replicate a timber box sash and traditional through horn detail for enhanced aesthetics.
The weather bar is available from stock in White, plus a range of foils including Rosewood on Brown, Light Oak on Brown, White Woodgrain on White and Cream Woodgrain on Cream.
One of Spectus Window Systems’ most popular products, the Vertical Slider combines the high performance of PVC-U with the appearance of a traditional timber sliding sash window and offers full Ovolo detail throughout, a tilt-in facility for cleaning and 128mm front to back dimensions for easy timber sash replacement.
Chris Ross, product manager for Spectus Window Systems, said: “This latest product enhancement is yet another reason why the Spectus Vertical Slider is the first choice for period properties. Small design details can make all the difference when replacing traditional timber windows and the new weather bar is an authentic design feature
Designed for fitting during fabrication, the new weather bar can also be retrofitted on site, if required.
